AT&T U-verse is a fiber optic network which offers high speed internet, television and digital phone service in United States.
AT&T U-verse is a newer service and offers HD TV, Broadband Internet and Digital Voice as bundle package. Consumer has option to choose Internet only or Bundle service along with high speed internet. U-verse is based on fiber optic network so it is much faster than DSL connection. U-verse is still not available in many parts of the nation.
U-verse uses a Fiber to the Node (FTTN) or Fiber to the Premises (FTTP) communications network. A high-speed variant of Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line technology called ADSL2+ or Very-high-bit-rate digital subscriber line (VDSL) are used on the telephone lines to the customers' premises.
